BIGBANG’S SEUNGRI ‘DONATES 100 MILLION WON’ FOR CHILDREN FROM LOW-INCOME FAMILIES ON HIS BIRTHDAY! 2017.12.12

-SEUNGRI DELIVERS BRIQUETTE HIMSELF WITH HIS FATHER ‘WARM HEART’

BIGBANG’s SEUNGRI donated 100 million won for children suffering the cold wave on his birthday.

Aori F&B, a business owned by SEUNGRI donated 100 million won to the Green Umbrella Childfund Korea, a global child welfare agency on December 12.

On the same day, SEUNGRI volunteered for the ‘Delivering Briquettes of Love’ campaign with his father, spending a meaningful birthday. 20 executives and staff members from E-Mart and 30 executives, staff members, and franchisees from Aori F&B also participated in the volunteering campaign through the Green Umbrella Childfund Korea – Seoul Briquette Bank.

Aori F&B is a Japanese Donkotsu Ramen business founded by SEUNGRI last year. Since their first opening on Cheongdam Dong, the business has been running active and even expanded globally, with the first Chinese store opening in Shanghai.

SEUGRI provided the donation through part of the profits earned from Aori F&B’s ‘Aori Went Missing’ Ramen Business. Aori F&B’s frequent collaborator E-Mart added 30 million won to the donation when they heard the news, allowing a total donation of 130 million won.

The foundation is planning to provide daily necessities and objects to help keep warm for the children from low income families using the donation fund. Part of the funds will be passed on to the Seoul Briquette Bank, supporting families that need briquettes for heating.

SEUNGRI stated, “I wanted to share the profits earned from the ramen business, for our children and neighbors who are in need”, revealing his idea of donating at a regular basis.

SEUNGRI has been participating in many good deeds recently, such as making a talent donation of his voice on ‘Hi, POP – Art Out on The Streets, Pop Art Gallery’ audio guide.
