YG's rookie group, the evolution of idols has begun! Not a single exclusive performance has been revealed. No single tune has been fully unleashed. Merely a 10-part authentic documentary has been disclosed about YG's novice group Big Bang! Yet, with this sole production, Big Bang has already captured immense interest and acclaim.



BIGBANG is capable of pulling off every single element required for idols - dancing, singing, rapping, writing lyrics, and composing music. Their debut single is also characterized by self-produced songs by the members. The title song “We Belong Together,” with various patterns of rapping in an up-tempo rhythm, was composed by their leader G-DRAGON and jointly written by G-DRAGON and T.O.P, while ‘This Love', which samples American rock band MAROON5's “This Love,” was written, composed, and arranged by G-DRAGON. The rap section of the joint title track, the R&B ballad “Fool with Tears,” was also written by BIGBANG members. Moreover, in the forthcoming monthly single and regular albums, compositions made by BIGBANG members will also be featured.

Also, BIGBANG's activities will be quite unique. In their first single, not all members will be together for their activities. To show off each member's capability, songs will be chosen according to each member's characteristics, which will give them the chance to show their own abilities; thus came the thought of YG's CEO YANG HYUN-SUK, who had long been disappointed that many idol groups' activities were limited by the number of members or their abilities, and the groups could only sing and dance pre-determined songs with no chance to show their own skills. So, G-DRAGON and T.O.P will show their natural sense of rhythm on stage through “We Belong Together,” and TAEYANG and DAESUNG will show their high-level dance moves with “A FOOL OF TEARS.” This will again confirm that BIGBANG members have the capabilities to pull off any songs.
