BABYMONSTER will kick off their debut fan meeting tour on May 11 and 12 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, a venue capable of accommodating over 10,000 people. Considering that this occurs before their formal debut in the local market and that they are freshly debuted rookies, their swift entry into such a large arena is quite exceptional.

The high expectations from the local music market for BABYMONSTER can be inferred from this. Indeed, their first mini album, [BABYMONS7ER], released on the 1st of this month, immediately topped the iTunes Japan K-POP, pop, and K-POP album charts upon release. It also ranked highly on three Oricon charts—weekly album, pop (import), and comprehensive album—and on Billboard Japan’s ‘Hot Album’ and ‘Download Album’ charts, indicating a growing popularity.

Furthermore, with their mini album [BABYMONS7ER], BABYMONSTER has achieved notable success both domestically and internationally with the title track “SHEESH”. Riding on this momentum, they are set to meet global fans through a fan meeting tour across five regions in Asia (Tokyo, Japan; Jakarta, Indonesia; Singapore; Taipei, Taiwan; Bangkok, Thailand) and at Japan’s largest music festival, ‘Summer Sonic 2024’.
