YG Executive Producer Yang Hyun Suk’s Thorough Feedback…BABYMONSTER’s Tears Flood Within Seconds Due
BABYMONSTER, the group that solidified their title as “monster rookies” at their first solo concert, has revealed behind-the-scenes footage from their rapid entry into Seoul’s KSPO DOME.
YG Entertainment released “BABYMONSTER – [HELLO MONSTERS] BEHIND in SEOUL” on their official blog on March 19. The video captures the group under the stage, perfecting their performance through band sessions, dance practices, rehearsals, and backstage activities.
From their very first world tour, BABYMONSTER couldn’t hide their excitement. Despite being their first time performing the newly arranged accompaniments, they captivated ears with their flawless live vocals. The mood surged as everyone rose, bursting with energy and laughter.
During the dance practices and solo stage preparations, the atmosphere was filled with joy. The members were serious about their freestyle movements, dance formations, and gesture development, while also becoming each other’s audience, boosting morale with fervent support.
Upon entering the KSPO DOME for the final rehearsal, BABYMONSTER meticulously prepared for the changed environment. From adjusting the protruding stages to the lifts and utilizing the set, they seamlessly absorbed YG Executive Producer Yang Hyun Suk’s detailed feedback, crafting a poised stage presence. They then watched a VCR of their past moments and shed tears, with the eldest sister, RUKA, and other members finding themselves with moist eyes as well.
On the day of the performance, the venue was filled with global audiences who couldn’t believe they were witnessing rookies, as the stage overflowed with confidence and continuous cheers. “Being able to perform on such a big stage is all thanks to the fans,” said BABYMONSTER. “We are so grateful that everyone finished safely and it was truly a joyful experience.”
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER has been on their first world tour since their January performance at the Seoul KSPO DOME. They are significantly expanding their reach, including Japan, Asia, and North America, meeting global fans across 20 cities in 29 sessions.
