YG “BLACKPINK is Currently Filming Their New Music Video”

BLACKPINK is making their long-awaited return as a full group. Over the weekend, scenes of BLACKPINK filming a new music video in a secret location in Seoul were spotted, raising anticipation among fans around the world for their comeback.

On the 9th, YG Entertainment officially confirmed for the first time that BLACKPINK began filming their new music video on June 6. This follows Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK’s earlier promise that “we’ll be announcing news of BLACKPINK’s new song soon,” confirming that the group’s comeback preparations are progressing smoothly.

This marks the group’s first new song release in approximately two years and eight months, making it a major event for global music fans. While specific details such as the release date, song title, and concept remain under wraps, the launch of the music video shoot strongly suggests that BLACKPINK’s comeback is right around the corner.

According to YG, “The filming is taking place in Korea with a renowned international director. It will result in yet another iconic music video that encapsulates BLACKPINK’s identity and musical color.” They added, “As this is a special collaboration befitting BLACKPINK’s status as a top global artist, expectations are high.”

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to embark on a massive world tour, beginning in July with a concert in Goyang. The tour will span 16 cities and 31 shows, including performances in major stadiums across Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
