YG’s New Girl Group Trainees EVELLI and CHANYA to Drop Surprise Unit Performance Video
The dance performance video featuring EVELLI and CHANYA, trainees from YG’s new girl group, will be revealed at midnight on the 21st.
YG Entertainment announced the release through a poster uploaded on its official blog on the 19th. Following their individual videos that showcased their musical talents, this will mark the first time EVELLI and CHANYA perform together as a unit.
As YG has confirmed the debut of a four-member rookie girl group, this video offers an early glimpse into the teamwork and chemistry between the first two revealed members. Previously, 15-year-old EVELLI from Australia impressed viewers with her all-rounder abilities in both rap and dance.
Now, excitement is building for CHANYA, the 14-year-old Thai trainee who was widely praised for her powerful vocals and delicate emotional delivery. This video will showcase her dance skills for the first time, raising anticipation for the synergy she and EVELLI will create together.
Meanwhile, YG is continuing its YG NEXT MONSTER project to introduce its next girl group. With the group positioned as the successor to global powerhouses BLACKPINK and rising vocal force BABYMONSTER, the international music market is already paying close attention.
In fact, EVELLI’s rap and dance performance videos have surpassed 21.5 million and 9.35 million views respectively on YouTube, while CHANYA’s vocal video has topped 6.22 million views. Combined, the three videos have racked up a staggering 37 million views, further fueling excitement for what many expect to be a next-level rookie girl group.
