BABYMONSTER’s ‘WE GO UP’ MV Soars! Surpasses 30 Million Views in Just Three Days
BABYMONSTER continues its explosive rise on YouTube with the music video for “WE GO UP,” as the group fuels the momentum with an upcoming high-quality performance video.
According to YG Entertainment on October 13, the music video for BABYMONSTER’s second mini album title track “WE GO UP” surpassed 30 million views on YouTube at around 6 a.m. that day. After reaching 10 million views within a day of release, the video hit 20 million in just 22 hours, and 30 million in 19 hours, showing a sharp acceleration in global viewership growth.
Building on this explosive success, YG Entertainment announced the release of the “WE GO UP EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO” at midnight on October 14. Given the MV’s soaring trajectory, the upcoming performance-focused clip is expected to further ignite BABYMONSTER’s popularity.
Previously, YG Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK had hinted that a choreography video with the same level of quality as the music video would follow. To achieve this, the production began early with meticulous pre-planning and large-scale collaboration involving a mega dance crew. YG reportedly conducted multiple days of filming at various locations to deliver a cinematic and powerful visual experience.
The newly unveiled “WE GO UP EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO D-1” poster has also heightened anticipation. Featuring a vast runway bathed in dramatic night lighting, the teaser image evokes the grandeur of BABYMONSTER’s yet-unseen stage performance, signaling another milestone moment for the group.
A YG representative shared, “Because the original music video didn’t include the full choreography, we dedicated exceptional care to this performance video. We hope fans will enjoy it as a centerpiece of BABYMONSTER’s comeback promotions.”
BABYMONSTER officially returned on October 10 with their second mini album [WE GO UP]. The title track blends bold confidence, fierce rap verses, electrifying high notes, and an addictive melody, delivering an empowering message about striving higher, a combination that continues to win praise from music fans worldwide.
